Jim Kissick, PE
President
As President and founder of Kissick Construction Company, Inc., Jim Kissick brings to the firm over thirty-five years of experience and leadership in the construction industry. A registered professional engineer, Jim uses his engineering experience in the field managing projects with a hands-on approach.
Jim began his professional career first serving as a superintendent, estimator and then project manager for a regional heavy construction firm. His career also includes serving as Public Works Director for Jackson County, Missouri. In addition to managing a twenty million dollar budget and staff of over 100 people, his primary function included overall management of the county’s bridge and highway division. This included maintenance and construction, the management of the engineering division and the management of the administrative duties associated with the position.
As President of Kissick Construction, Jim manages the site development, site utility and roadwork projects for the firm. He has significant experience with design, value engineering, and installation of site utilities. He specializes in projects with difficult construction conditions and schedules.
