Earthwork isn’t just about moving dirt around. At Kissick Construction we use the latest technology to calculate how much material is needed to be removed from the site or brought on site.
Our survey department and experienced estimators work in unison to estimate material quantities accurately and to come up with ways to save the owner money. Earthwork is normally the first scope of work performed and cost savings on the front end of the project can be extremely important to the project’s overall budget. Having accurate information is crucial in the overall efficiency of labor and equipment. Using the information gathered by our experienced survey team, our talented project team can decide on the right equipment and the right amount of labor. About
David has served in many capacities at Kissick during his 20+ years of experience. From low-man on a crew to pipe foreman to “gopher” in the office to estimating and managing multi-million dollar projects, David has experienced a lot in his young career. David serves as an estimator on a variety of underground utility and earthwork projects. He has also led the firm’s expansion into self-performing trenchless sewer pipe rehabilitation work.
Fun Fact
He is a 5th generation Kissick in the construction business. He has 5 children with his wife Monica, and a Border Collie named Roxy.

Crushing and Recycling of Concrete, Rock and Aggregates
Our mobile crushing process can take demolished concrete and excavated rock and crush it into material that can be used on site. For example, we can take demolished sidewalk and curb from an existing site and crush it into AB-3 material to be used for the building pad of a proposed building. This can result in significant cost savings to the client and keeps demolished concrete out of our landfills.
